A Tragic Incident

On August 27, 1967, Serio’s life took a dramatic turn when he was involved in a serious car accident. The incident resulted in severe injuries to both him and his friend, Polish singer Anna German. While Serio recovered, German’s injuries were far more severe, and she tragically passed away a few years later.

Despite the challenges he faced, Serio continued to create music that captivated audiences worldwide. He composed music for numerous musical comedies by Garinei & Giovannini and contributed to the soundtracks of several films, including “Innocence and Desire” (1974), “The Pumaman” (1980), “Hit Man” (1982), “Alone in the Dark” (1982), “The Third Solution” (1988), and “The Invisible Ones” (1988).
